Here it is finally, I went on a bit of a spending spree recently. I've had time to try it all out properly so now it's time to do the "show and tell" thing.

First off; new module for the RM100. This one is a Soldano SLO module from Jaded Faith.

Awesome module. Has that real SLO sound to it, well, apart from the cleans.

Next. Boss GT-100. I am pretty impressed by this really. I got it to use with my RM-100, so the amp modeling was pretty irrelevant. All I've really used it for is overdrives and MIDI controller but the other effects are pretty impressive.
It has that pro Roland feel to it. I'm sure it will last me for many years.
It's stoopid easy to drive. Between the two displays and all the knobs it takes no time to program or even tweak. In play mode you can assign the knobs to whatever you want, making it no harder to tweak on stage than a stomp box if you assign the right things to them. Then hit write twice and it's saved.

However, since buying the SLO module, all I'm using is this:

Which brings me to the next item - the Morley mini Maverick wah. That's it on the right (the silver pedal is a Timmy). It's basically a Bad Horsie in a smaller package. Small but still large enough to be easy to use.

Next:
Rio Grande Dirty Harry bridge pickup.

This is a pretty cool thing. It's a P90 in a single coil tele housing, hand wound in Texas. It does actually have a P90 sound to it. A vintage sort of P90. It's my main weapon in my punk band that i play slide in.

Here's a clip of the SLO module, taken at Saturday's gig. It's the Dirty Harry using the little punk board. ie. The boost for the solo is the Timmy.

Oh yeah. I also bought a Seymour Duncan Hot P90 for my other tele. It rocks. I'm sure you've all heard a SD Hot P90; it's one of those.

This is a clip where I'm using the Morley to let you hear that. Still getting the hang of it, it's a bit different to use than my old PWA.
It's us fooling around with a Mighty Boosh song.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Yeah,
Well, I guess their choices were snakeskin or white. White would have been a bit dull. Jaded Faith's choice of graphics can be a bit off though. Case in point:

Thanks guys. Yeah, slide is a lot of fun, especially the way I play it. Had a lot of doubters when we said we were going to be doing punk as a 3 piece with slide guitar but they've all had to eat crow.
It takes a bit of practice though, I'm using open E tuning (E,B,E,G#,B,E) for the punk stuff. That's what takes the time, getting your head around the tuning. Especially that G# string. You basically have to relearn all your scales.
