I'm sure you're probably wondering what the hell I mean by "Virtual Bandmates" as it isn't something heard very often. I wasn't even sure it was a "thing" so I googled it and found this that seems to sum it up pretty well:

http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/virtual-band.htm

Anyway...I'm a musician that has been playing bass for over 15 years, guitar for 12-ish and doing the digital recording thing for 10 years or so. My current setup includes...

DAW: REAPER with M-Audio monitor speakers.
VST's and VSTi's: You name it...drums, synths, guitars, vox...I've got it all.
Guitars: Custom early 90s S540LTD in drop C and an Ibanez RGT6EXFX for other tunings.
Basses: Ibanez SR705 and an old EX-Series. Both 5string.

I've got TONS of crap that I have recorded, a little of which is on my SoundCloud page. Just search rmp5s if you wanna check it out. Much of it is just little clips of me messing around.

What I'm looking for is someone to collaborate with, work on some stuff with and expand on ideas with. It gets boring sometimes recording by yourself all the time. You don't have to play anything in particular, have epic recording software or even be super epic awesome. This is an "in your spare time" kind of thing...nothing super serious. Maybe down the line I'd put the stuff on iTunes or YouTube or some shit. Not worried about that right now.

Basically just looking to do an open mic night through email, I guess you could say. So...got some neat guitar parts? Want to do some vocals? You a fan of programming drums? (I'm not!) Hit me up!

I would be interested but im not sure if you would like to collaborate with me

Here are some of my examples I hope they are good enough :

I actually strive for the same goal as you since recording all alone gets boring after a while

I could do anything except for vocals , also I practiced video editing a lot .

This is really awkward...

Do you have some kind of social media to contact you like facebook or something like that ?

Would be much easier to trade files

I'd be up for lending some help. I can harmonize, play guitar, bass, and drum (but I don't have a place to record drums. I would be more than happy to write out some full tracks worth of Drums as midi, and allow you to put whatever sounds you want in)
