Those are the same speakers as a standard Marshall 1960 cabinet from some time in the 90's onwards. I've gigged with them for 20+ years. Good solid workhorses.

I saw in a couple of pictures that on Bucketheads Les Paul (only some pictures) that his neck pickup is painted in white. Can anyone explain to me why he would do this, and if there are any pros and cons.

The guy wears a KFC Bucket and a white mask during performances, and you're interested in the color of his pickup covers?

Do you guys have any idea of the cabinet and the speakers? Would they be English or Chinese made?

Speakers are probably English.

The cab doesn't look very high quality - could be MDF even. But there's not really any way to tell for sure from those pics.

Im not even sure Celestion was making these speakers in China when this cab would've been made?

Doesn't matter, anyway, Chinese vs English Celestions is a load of crap anyway. They sound the same, and anyone willing to pay significantly more for them is a fool.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

There's a photo of the driver that clearly says "Ipswich, England" and in the questions he says they are all the same.
I'd buy it, I wouldn't care too much about the carpet either but if that is an issue then retolex it yourself later. The speakers alone are worth the money.
