Hey,
I have guitar esp ltd m50 and laney im going to replace.
Budget - up to 400-500 dollars.
Music - John Frusciante, U2, RHCP, rock, hard rock, metal(not priority)
My skill - kinda noob, never took any lessons besides internet. Hear song, learn to play it in 10 minutes, JF solos in weeks..months... Dont know notes but very well capable of playing.
New or used - dont care, guess used is better cause of price
Need an amp for apartment. Dont have any intentions on band or gigs or concert or whatever.

Some guys advised me Blues Junior, DSL401, blackheart bh15, Bugera V22, mesa, Marshall Class 5, Marshall SL5
Well, we almost agreed on BJ but it turned out that BJ is "only" for the blues and im not only into that clean tone. Should I save more money for Marshall or ?

Beside Amp, prolly gonna get DS-2 and WH10 V2

Thanks .

Prices in my country(Croatia):
Blues Junior - from 500$ and up -used
Marshall dcl 401 - cant find any used. New is from 900$

Is it really worth that much money ? Anyone knows anything about buying amps through ebay/similar sites ?

Well he uses a Marshall more than not so a marshall DSL401/201, Laney AOR 30/50/100 would be a good choice.

Have Laney and tried some high-watt Laney, not really sure... anyway, dont/didnt like it.

So, between Blues junior and Marshall 401 ? Which one you would buy ?

Definitely the 401. Also, look into Egnater Tweakers and Rebels, maybe a Peavey Classic, VTM, or Butcher (old ones not the new ones) and Laney GH, VH, VC series. I'm not sure what Laney you have, but I imagine it isn't the same quality as the ones I recommended which are very good.
I'm just a kickin' and a gougin' in the mud and the blood and the beer.
