The next guitar I'm thinking about getting is one of the cheaper $500-$800 Sterling by Music Man 7 String guitars. The two I've got my eye on are the Sterling by Music man JP100 7 String for $580 and the Sterling by Music Man JP70 7 String for $650. I kinda want the JP100 more kuz I like the pacific blue color more then the green that comes on the JP70 but JP70 cost more so I'd assume it'd better (I know that's not a good thing to base guitars off of price but whenever I see more expensive guitars I instantly start to wonder if it's better). I just wanted to see if anyone who had used them or knows a lot about them could tell me which ones better or just tell me how they're different.

Here are some links:

The only differences that I noticed:

-The JP70 comes with a gig bag while the JP100 does not
-The JP100 has a quilted maple top

Other than that they appear to be identical in specifications. I would get the one that you prefer the look of.
Guitars:
ESP Eclipse II w/ SD Black Winters
Ibanez S540 w/ DiMarzios
Ibanez RG370DX w/ EMG 81/60
Ibanez RG7321 w/ DiMarzios
Pedals:
Fulltone FB-3
Crybaby Wah
Ibanez TS-9
Amps:
Peavey 6505+

Lol that's a shame because I'm pretty sure the JP70 doesn't come in blue :/

Could you not pick up a used JP7 for not too much more?

You won't get such nice colours, but the quality would be insane.
