I have played one briefly and it was a while ago, but I think the one I played was pretty decent. Nothing special, but nothing stood out as terrible. Go try one and see for yourself if you can!

Personally, I don't think they'd be any different than your standard Epiphone. Mind you, you could probably get something more conventional looking in the used market if you'd prefer. If you could try it out first I'd do that.
