I have never owned an acoustic guitar but was thinking about getting a Taylor 114e.

Do the electronics on this guitar make it possible to plug into reverb pedals or effects units like the POD HD500?

Thanks for any info!

Does said guitar have a quarter inch output jack?
Or an XLR output jack maybe?

If it's any of the cases, the thing will work.
If it's the second case you'll need a female XLR to male quarter inch jack though.

You may wanna bypass the amp and cab simulations on the pod also, which will yeld a pretty funny (possibly pretty bad) sounding result - unless you're going for that particular effect of course.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

It will work fine with any piezo pickup system that has a preamp
Even one without a pre would work, the pod is designed to take that kinda signals.
