So I just ordered some Yahama HS8s to go with my band new Saffire Pro 40. I want to thank everyone for their suggestions on the interface. I've been extremely pleased with it for the most part.

I am wondering what would be the best placement for these; On IsoAcoustic Stands, Auralex Mopads, or some stand that sit on the side of your desk?

Does anyone have any experience with any of these or all three?

The best mixing position will be an equal distance between the 2 speakers and where you sit to mix so that it forms a equilateral triangle. IsoAcoustic stands and Mopads would be great because they will cut down on unwanted sound artifacts and combfiltering. I have my speakers high enough so my ears are in the middle between the speaker and the tweeter.
