Greetings from the Musician Talk forum, hi ^_^

I'm just forum hopping until I can find the right sopund for wjhat I wanna do. After listening to my influences, the Hardcore forum mentioned Post-Rock. I looked a few up (Sigur Ros, Dextro, Cult of Luna, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Vidavox) and it is definitely changing the way I look at music.

Where should I go for more quality Post Rock materials? (not a lotta electric-techno-y stuff plz. I like techno alone but not in my rock. Just my preference)
Theory is just...wow. I'm getting a bit over my head by trying to learn so much w/o formal educators

There's a pretty substantial Post Rock thread in the Alternative and Indie section. It hasn't been active lately but there's a lot of great suggestions in there.
This isn't coincidence
there's no such
thing
