I recently got a new guitar with a floyd rose
I changed a bunch of strings (not all)
All's good except for my first string it won't sound right
If i loosen it it's no more usable and if i tighten it it will break !
When i try to tune it the tuner shows it's perfectly in tune ...
Even though i doubt it but could it be i equipped the wrong string ?

Thanks.

If the tuner shows it's the right note, it's the right note (unless the tuner is broken). Check intonation. As I just mentioned in your other thread, Jackson's low end factory has some real lazy QC people, and a lot of stores don't do anything about it before selling them to you. Intonation might be out of whack.

Honestly, if you want to save yourself some time, money, and headache, take it to a guitar tech and/or luthier, and just tell him to give it a full set up. He'll make it play perfectly, or tell you what's wrong and whether you should return it, if making it play perfect isn't possible. Make sure it's a real guitar tech, too. Not just some random dude at the counter at guitar center.

You've already got one thread on this -- you don't need to start a second one. You have eleven replies on that thread. Read them.

It's not qbout tuning the guitar it's aout a string that's sounding likr another string when tuned , i also checked intonation

If it doesn't sound right, you need to redo the intonation on that string.

Go read the Floyd Rose sticky again; intonation is covered halfway down post #1.

So your string is perfectly in tune but it's not in tune?

Yes ;-;

That cannot be possible. Unless your intonation needs adjusting.

Again, the floyd rose sticky covers that.
