i have a blackstar ht-1 combo amp. It has a gain switch, not a channel switching amp.

ive had it for 6 months with no problems until 3 days ago when the amp got quieter suddenly, after a couple of seconds of being quieter it changes the tone to become really fizzy and almost like a fuzz pedal sound. i have the audio clip of when the amp gets to that fizzy point.

the warbling noise are palm muted notes. single notes sound clearer but still sound very bad

if i turn off the amp and turn it right back up it goes back to normal but then does that again after a couple of minutes. I though it would only happen in the gain stage but in the clean channel it does it as well. what could it be?

If i do palm mutes on hi gain, the amp rattles slightly a bit, could months of that caused this problem?

It's modelling valve power amp output valves wearing out.

actually it is a hybrid amp part tube, part SS
change the 2 tubes and you should be sorted or a tech will need to take a look
