Hey Everyone,

I won this guitar from ESP a couple of months ago.

Specs:

Set Neck
24.75" Scale
Mahogany Body
Custom Affliction Graphics
Mahogany Neck
Rosewood Fingerboard
Thin U Neck Contour
Bone Nut
22XJ Frets
Gotoh Locking Tuners
Gotoh TOM Bridge
Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 Neck Pickup
Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB Bridge Pickup

Thoughts:

It came out of the box ready to go though I'm adjusting everything now that it's getting used to the Virginia weather. The guitar feels and plays great. The locking tuners are awesome during string changes - so simple.

This is actually my first LP shaped guitar - it's very comfortable both standing and sitting - I see why they are so popular now!

The feel of the neck is very comfortable.

The '59 Neck pickup is very sweet - it's my first time having one of these.

The overall quality of this instrument is great. There do seem to be a few finish flaws, especially on the headstock. Beautiful well made instrument with great note resonance and sustain throughout.

ESP originally shipped this in a gig bag in a box if you can believe it. They did hook me up with a good deal on a hard case though.

Thanks ESP!

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
