I have a Schecter 02 C-1 Diamond Series guitar. I recently put new heavier strings (from 9 to 42 with the 9 replaced with a 10 to 10-46) and I have had string buzz on the higher frets since I put them on. They have been on there for at least 2 weeks. I have spent about 30 minutes messing with the rod and there is still buzz. As a note, intonation is off a very little. How can I fix this stupid buzz? Thanks
Raise the action until it goes away.
That happens when you change string gauges. Just needs a setup to fix the buzz and the intonation. If you don't know how to do that yourself, take it to a tech. Should be cheap.
That's all I had to do, raise the bridge. Thanks!!
