I recently purchased a Boss RC-2 looper pedal online. It arrived today and I set up the pedal as I would any other. I switched on my Fender Mustang III Amplifier and read up on the pedal.
After getting to grips with it I decided to attempt a loop, I stomped on the pedal to start my loop and then stomped again to stop it and start playback. To my surprise there was no playback of my loop but only the playback of the in-built drum track.
The pedal is obviously registering my recording but there is no playback coming from my amplifier.
Has anyone else suffered from a loop pedal not playing there recordings back to them?? I'm not certain if it's my amp or the pedal being faulty.
Please help, many thanks.

I wasn't aware the RC-2 has drum tracks? There's no mention of them in the manual?

There are two knobs to the leftmost knob.
The inside one controls the drum track, the outside one controls the loop.
Turn the outside one up

Why did I not know about the drum tracks...

Ok, learning every day, you mean the guide sounds, yes?

I didn't know what those were when looking at this in GC, and never would have thought to equate that to drum tracks.

Now it all makes sense!! Thanks.
