Hello,
So my dad said he'll buy me an amp but I want to know if the amp i was looking at is any good. I'm just practicing at home, and hopefully I start a band with some friends when I get good at playing. So the amp I was looking at is the Fender Champion 20 And the songs I really want to learn are by Orianthi and Avril Lavigne, So it would mean a lot if you could help me out

Not really, is his limit $100 like the Champion? Will he/you buy used?

If that is the most he will spend, I suggest getting a used Peavey Vypyr 30. They are regularly <$90 used and would sound much better. Even a used Fender Mustang IIn would be a better choice.

Yeah my dad hates spending lots of money so I have a limit of 100 or 130 :/ And my music store doesn't sell much amps that are under 130...

If you live in the USA you can order from many stores and they include free shipping.
this would be worth looking at

Unfortunately I live in Canada so it won't ship here
I found some other amps are these any good?
Marshall MG15CFX 15 watt amp ($189.00)
Fender Mustang I (V.2), 120V ($129.99)
Peavey Solo Guitar Amp ($99.99)
Which one is best?

Used Peavey Vypr is the thing I'm thinking here, but the mustang is good for lower gain stuff.

For Avril Lavigne, I'd say that the Marshall would be DAMN good for what you are playing. For anything else, it'd be a pretty good paperweight.

No, just no. The MG is awful for everything.

Good choices would be a Peavey Vypyr 30, a Peavey Vypyr VIP 2, a Fender Mustang II, a Roland Cube 40XL or a Vox Valvetronix VT80+.
Try to find used ones on your local classifieds or Gumtree.

Musicians Friend does ship to Canada. I think it's only like 30-40$USD to do so, or at least it is for me (i'm in NB)

Long-Mcquade does Rent to own (or they used to at least) which could be an option if you want something better out side of budget. Id look for some kind of marshall (not an MG) or a Peavy vypr. The Mustang amps do clean sounds fairly well, but I really dislike mine's drive.

When you have to explain that something is a joke, it's a sign that the joke sucked.

some of us can only dream of making half the money Avril has by playing music , till then I'll just have to fix cars for a living , sucks don't it ? .... not that I like her music in particular , but saying she sucks needs to come from someone more success full than she is IMHO and not knock the OP

Grab the mustang 1, the vypyr sucks at cleans.

One doesn't need to be a successful musician to critisise music.
