So I'll be purchasing this MIA P Bass from Cranbourne music tomorrow, and in the description it says that it has a 4-ply pickguard.

" Bridge: 4-Saddle High-Mass Vintage (String-Through-Body or Topload)
• Hardware Finish: Chrome
• Tuning Machines: Fender® "F" Light-Weight Vintage-Paddle Keys with Tapered Shafts
• Pickguard: 4-Ply Tortoiseshell
• Control Knobs: Knurled Flat-Top"

I'm wanting a black pickguard but you can't purchase MIA P Bass' with them already on to my knowledge, so I was wondering where I can get a fitting genuine Fender black pick guard for this bass?

They're not expensive so price isn't an issue, I just want new and genuine! The official Fender website doesn't seem to sell them?

Can anyone help me out with finding a pick guard that'll fit? I've found 3-ply ones but honestly I'm a noob at this sh** so I really have no idea what to do.

hey, be nice to the hipster.
I hear they use false bypass switches.

It's, like, so ironic.

3-ply and 4-play makes no difference, both will fit, it's about the holes. eBay has Fender part dealers.

Yeah, ply count isn't important. Just count your holes on the pickguard and buy accordingly. You should be able to get genuine fender parts from any fender dealer.
Sometimes they are called "scratchplates" too, so maybe look at that.
