So I've been thinking of replacing/removing/modifying the front baffle to my VH100R, because why not. Problem is the reverb tank is screwed to it. I'm thinking I'll have enough room to mount it to the "roof" of the head shell, then I'll use P-Clips or something to stick the wires to the side and have them out of the way.

Incredibly stupid question is I shouldn't run into any issues doing this, correct? Reverb tank will work upside-down? That's the main thing I'm worried about.

You could flip the head over and play it with the reverb enabled. It shouldn't damage it. I'm gonna assume the reverb will work either way.

Not while that amp's one, I imagine . I bumped into it while playing once and heard a spring start rattling like a MFer through the speaker.

The tank in my 212 also rattles when it moves. It should work just fine in any orientation.

EDIT: The one thing the 5150 III is missing, ****ing reverb.
