This is one reason I don't bake.

The other being that I don't want to have to buy larger trousers every few months.

I think that was because I put the black metallic thing I don't know the name of on my induction stove ("hob" according to wordreference, I'm not really an expert on that), which has tactile controls that must have been activated by the metallic black thing, and the stove/hob heated the thing so much the paper ignited.

Such a stressful day.
