I was browsing around on gumtree...and saw this: http://www.gumtree.com/p/other-guitar-accessories/randall-rm100-100watt-valve-amp/1085937747

A randall in good looking condition, for £350. My assumption is that is very cheap for the UK, but i'm just wondering what you guys (UK & non UK people) think. One thing that i'm curious about is the slightly off angle transformer in the back picture though..

Some of that tilt may be the photograph, but the transformer DOES look a little bit skewed.
You'll want to look carefully at that -- a drop on the end of the cabinet will often cause the very heavy transformers to warp (or even tear off of) the chassis. A tilted transformer is evidence of a drop and you'll want to know that whatever drop or smash caused that has not caused other problems within the amp.

As long as you can contact the person and gain better photographs I would jump all over that. Those are great amps. The footswitch is included and as long as everything is functioning you are getting a pretty good deal.

Id say its a great deal so long as its truely is in good condition as the seller claims.

Same as up there - if you can try it and have a look at it or you can at least get trustworty info the thing's allright, it's a good deal.

The chassis on those is pretty solid so if that tranny is bent like that I'd be a bit concerned. It may just be an optical illusion. Check it out. If it's ok jump on it.
