Maybe because there are no vocals, sometimes the synths seemed abit overpowering (the first verse especially)

Captures the essence of the genre well, with good riffs. Lead wise playing is pretty good (although I felt the bends/vibrato in the solo could be better but I'm very specific with that sort of thing)

Overall I liked it, and would like to hear it with vocals at somepoint!

If you could C4C on my bands new video/single that'd be great

Good song but the mix is too muddy. Double tracking? Compared your mix to some Joey Sturgis mixed/mastered songs and there's still a lot you must do. The drums are to soft. The guitars are just to upfront in the mix. The synth at 00:18 can use a different sound. Avenged Sevenfold influence at 00:52 on the lead? At 1:19 to 1:30 the rhythm sounds sloppy but the rest of the song is quite on time. With metalcore, especially Joey Sturgis' style, perfect timing/quantizing is what make the mix. Good song. Just try a different mix or rerecord the sloppy parts. Anyway, here's a link to my thread https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1661427
