I know what I need to do as far as sanding and repainting goes, but to be more specific, there are a few things on the guitar body that I'm not sure how I should remove. I'm repainting an Ibanez s7321qm, and I'm not sure how the jack is supposed to be removed, for one. Also, the guitar body is a string-thru design, and there are metal rings where the strings enter the body. (ill attach a pic) can these be removed, and if so, how? I'd rather not cover them in paint.

Also, would it be wise to keep new paint out of the insert for the neck? what about the pickups? or where the bridge sits? Give me some general guidance or tips here. I know how to prep and paint, just unsure of the rights and wrongs of painting a guitar specifically....
