HI! just wondering if I could incorporate a distortion pedal into this song. (Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Green Day). If so, where do you recommend?

Well, is there distortion in the song? If so, yes, if not, then no. Unless you're doing a unique cover, then do whatever feels good to you.

Do you like other bands too or is it all about Green Day?

Go ahead and spend your money, I don't care. It won't make you sound better.

For the verse, I'm guessing? You will probably need an echo or delay too. Maybe both.

Hey, it's all about artistic license here.

Though Green Day's artistic license was suspended years ago.

Okay, I crack me up!

Pretty sure that's a tremolo.
One of those harder ones (with a square wave setting).

^ yeah tremolo. but also with distortion/overdrive as well.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Always been a fan of Greenday don't care what anyone say's. The guitar playing may not be the most complex but the song writing quality is there (or was).

Anyway's that being said man it's Greenday put a little distortion when needed and start jamming those power chords.
