Hey guys, I bought this Gibson gothic explorer about a year ago and it has some cool stripes/curved lives on the front of it . Does anyone know if circles like this are used by some guitarist I've never heard about? it's probably not lol, but that'd be cool. Thanks!

So you're saying Zakk Wylde played my guitar xD xD That's who I thought of originally when I got it, but all of his are pretty much full rings from the middle of the guitar out. pretty similar though.

The fewer rings on yours were his baby steps. Duh.

No, this was apparently part of the hallucination experienced by a Gibson Marketing wonk during a vision quest in which he implanted his cranium anally and ran out of air.

It was the same guy who saw a portrait of Angelina Jolie in the slime patterns on the Gibson factory floor after the great flood. He managed to convince Henry J that these patterns on Gibson Les Pauls would be viewed as a stroke of genius and who go them released as a limited edition.

No seriously, I wasn't joking either time. Here's the Flood guitar: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/gibson-limited-run-anniversary-flood-les-paul-studio-electric-guitar
