Anybody out here tried the telefunken ( re-branded jj) 6l6 yet? I'm going to buy a set soon just to see for myself, can't find any reviews anywhere!

I wouldn't pay the premium, besides Telefunken never made a 6L6........ever. So this is just another BS "lets use this name everyone knows to sell something" deals

It's like buying a EL34 RCA, never happened.

Just for shits n' giggles I ordered a set of EL34s for my Mesa Heartbreaker. I'll let you know.

They're cryo tubes at 1/2 the price of Black Sables, so who knows.

Well, I don't have any JJ's to compare them to, but these sound a hell of a lot better than Tung-Sol EL34s.

I think I'll try a set of the 6L6s when I have the money.
