so i have an early 90 Mexican telecaster all stock except for those graphite tech saddles and it plays pretty well. The pickups sound good but i was playing it the other day an noticed its not really as clear as i would like. when playing chords the higher strings tend to get lost in the mix. so im thinking of swaping the pickups but dont know which ones to choose. I like the tone im getting now with the stock ones but wish they were more clear. any ideas?

also would putting in new pots help with clarity?

New pots likely wouldn't help.

You may wanna adjust the height of the p/ups and see if you like them better at different height.

What kind of clarity are you talking about?
Please give songs/bands/sounds examples.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

I guess spambots are now capable of reading minds.
