t-5 vs ht-1
I want to get a blackstar. I live in an apartment and to heat the tubes up it seems at that level it would disturb my neighbors. Then again i could get the ht-1 but it only has an 8' speaker so worry about the lack of sound or last option wpuld be the Id series amp....what do you think?

What's wrong with Blackstar ? I generally hear rave reviews about these amps ..

don't hold back on your true feelings

you can get a decent tone from a higher watt tube amp at volumes that won't piss off the neighbors. I use a 50 watt for playing around the house. sure you can't really get that wide open sound but for practice I do fine tone wise. evena 1 watt amp cranked up will be pretty loud. the 8" speaker will drag you down soundwise.

they are promoted as tube amps but really have a fair amount of non tube junk in the signal path.

Not only that, when challenged they responded with a pack of lies. They're dirtbags.
