red blue and green (and yellow!) are all shitty colours anyway

#3
As humans, we don't have enough cones to see every color in the world, so there is no such thing as primary colors.

I think this so called "belljob" was trying to refer to psychology's primary colours, which include red, blue, and green.

Don't they include yellow as well?

some ****ing belljob

whoa whoa whoa whoa

So, red, green and blue are the additive primary colours, and they have to do with light emission.

red light + green light = yellow light
red light + blue light = magenta light
green light + blue light = cyan light

Cyan, magenta and yellow are the subtractive primary colours, and they have to do with light absorption and reflection. Let's take a yellow object. The object is yellow because it absorbs blue light, and reflects red and green light. Red light and green light make yellow light so the object is yellow.

And this is how the primary colours of pigments work.
Cyan objects absorb red light, but not blue light or green light. But if you mix cyan and yellow, it will absorb red light (from the cyan pigment) AND blue light (from the yellow pigment, so all that's left is green light, which is reflected by the mixed pigment, so for pigments:

cyan + yellow = green
magenta + yellow = red
cyan + magenta = blue

One theory (trichromatic theory) suggests it's red, green, and blue. The other (opponent process theory) groups them in pairs: red and green, yellow and blue, white and black.

Lol I love how I study such an imperfect science.

Maybe, we're still not even sure what a belljob is. I'm guessing it's someone who night "have a wazz" in the shower.

My first time reading it, I thought he said "bellhop."

it's when you go through the complex and contrived formal process of belling.

I think deadsmileyface is a fake british american.

And I'm the specific "****ing belljob" in the OP, that's why I said the timezone thing.
