Generally, bundles are not that great. That particular bundle wouldn't be all that bad, but you can do better.

would be a pretty sweet beginner setup, assuming you can buy a strap, instrument cable, and whatever else you might need and still be within budget.

Well; we need to know what your budget is right now. That package might be a good one if you are just curious about learning to play, but if you are (or if you become) serious about it, you will want a better bass and a better amplifier very quickly.

Well I'm currently only 16 and play rhythm guitar and vocals for my band but when me and my band mates go separate ways (probably) I would like to have the bass in my instument resume so I have a better chance of setting up or joining a band in college , because they are high in demand(also because I love bass ) . But it will just be a bedroom hobby for the next 3 years. Wattage isn't an issue as I won't be gigging XD!

Just something for my bedroom. Maybe get a better bass and then I will upgrade the amp?

Yeah , I was looking at that Ibanez. What do you think of the ESP B-10?
