Yeah that Purple and gold trim looks so sexxy. Not exactly sure what you mean by baritone. I read it can be tuned down, but thats the extent i get on that lol. Explain

A cheap viola 'cause it's been years since I non seriously think about it and why not.

Also a used yamaha cymbal stand base for my drums 'cause I managed to **** a cymbal stand before and I wanted something good and heavy.

based on a recommendation from dspellman , I had the wife get me a new amp , a Carvin VT 50 head to replace my Fender Super Reverb and Twin Reverb ..... Dspellman was on the money , the cleans are better than either of my Fender's , the Head is way lighter than the Combo's to carry so I'm going to list the Fenders for sale since I love the sound of the Carvin better .... happy , happy happy

Not gear. But I did get skis, boots, bindings, poles, and a season pass to half of Colorado. And a cooler full of dry-aged steaks shipped from Peter Luger. So I ain’t complaining.

Of course the Amazon gift cards are still coming in. Not sure if that will go for a pedal, a new bass, an amp, or an expensive new bass.

I got a lava lamp and some socks...I'm not joking.

Though I did just get a Yamaha acoustic for my birthday. Even that, I didn't ask for and really wish my brother knew I don't like dreadnaughts. I feel obligated to keep it but now I have cheap dreadnaughts like dspellman has Gibsons, and I never even use 'em. Oh well, I'll give 'em to my nephews when they're old enough.

Seymour Duncan pickups:
Jazz for the neck
'59/Custom Hybrid for the bridge

Weller Soldering station (WLC100)+additional tip
2 Alps concentric pots which I think might have been bunk (ordered CTS this time)
60/40 Solder

Yea... guess what I did ... after initially failing on the purpose of the 2 concentric knobs to control all 4 single coils and also to get 2 humbuckers out of it (yea... gotta work on the wiring and such), I pulled back out the 2 alphas that were in the guitar initially and just did a standard HH 1V1T setup for now (until the CTS pots arive).

mmm... delicious tones!

Need to save money for another two months though -_-

A pen and a set of cufflinks, both with oriental dragon motifs. Quite nice.

Using my own money, I'm on a pedal buying spree. So far:

2 T-Rex Gull Wah (long story)
1 EHX C9
1 Ohnoho Chk Chk Boom
1 ARC Effects Crimson King

..and I may not be done.

I forgot to mention she also got me a DiMarzio Super Distortion. The MXR 10 band is going to get returned as the Dano 6 band is sufficient and has a much smaller footprint. Then, with some of the cash I got and GC gift cards I'm going to get a 4x12.'

I got a bit of a bonus payment from my band which I've already used a portion of to buy the sound man's Musicman 115RH-65 cab that he was selling.

I'm also going to get myself a pedal switching unit of some description. the Joyo PXL-Live has all the right features but I'm not sure I trust their build quality, they seem to have a pretty bad reputation around here...

Also pre-ordered a MicroKorg XL+ but Korg's UK distributors actually ran out of stock in the pre-christmas rush so I have to wait until January for it to arrive.

So yeah, didn't actually get anything noteworthy for christmas as such, but I did get money that helped me to buy myself stuff
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Got an Orange Micro Terror and a bunch of GuitarCenter cards I used to get a Marshall cab I've had my eye on for a while.
Oh and a Blues Driver and some records.

I got myself a digitech drop. Pretty darn useful pedal, however its a little annoying at low volumes, listening to the speakers' pitch and the actual pitch of the guitar at the same time can be aggravating. All in all a good buy, I would certainly recommend it.

I have a pxl live and it's really good, I've only had it a couple of months but it seems pretty rugged. It's stood up to rehearsals and gigs with me stomping on it with new-rock boots so far. And for the price it's definitely worth it.

iPad Air, gift cards, a couple of shirts and about $15K in welding gear. (Long story, but didn't cost anywhere near that much and it's what I wanted.)

And my eldest got to spend the holidays with us, she got some unexpected liberty from the Marines. 👍
