I made this short composition for string quartet and it has some obvious Buckethead influence (I copied and transposed some riffs). I also listened/looked at some string quartets by Shostakovich.

The title of this piece is Carousel (merry-go-round) and the idea is that someone enters a park at night and suddenly sees this abandonded carousel, turns it on and makes it come alive. It's a pretty dark/crazy piece.

I'd suggest you find a better software more geared toward writing this sort of music- it's hard to judge it with the quality. I'd like to hear it properly. It sounds like it matches your theme pretty well.
