i just got a jimi hendrix ffm3 fuzz face and new cables, and to me, the fuzz, after tweaking it, it seems like the amp just isn't giving me a good sound, and i was wondering since i only have a fender 10g amp, once i get my fender 40 champ, will the sound improve, or am i just doing someting wrong?

you have to adjust your playing to suit the fuzz face- set the volume and fuzz knobs up full (or near enough), and then control the amount of fuzz from your guitar's volume control (i.e. roll it back for cleaner tone).

they also work better with tube amps, most likely.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
