I'm planning to get a Chromatic Pedal Tuner, so I want to know which one is better. Please be in positive attitude and manger.

Thanks!

i have three pitchblacks. two standard and one polyphonic i don't care for the poly all that much. but the original pitchblacks are great. i am sure i gigged one of them 50+ times. great. it also gives you different tuning modes. look for MF stupid deal of the day, because i paid $40 for the standards, and seperately $50 on the poly pitchblak

they are all of what you need in a good tuner.

for $100 there are a strobe pedals that a lot pedal junkys use. more accurate, but i didn't need to pay over double (on sale) for a tuner. i have never have a guy go up to me in tune and intonation and say 'oh yea you were off 1 cent sounded terrible' if you know what i mean.

Probably just the displays. Get the Joyo Pitchblack clone for $35 and be done with it.

I own both. The Boss tracks better on detuned bass (low C1), surprisingly, as the Korg is talked up about its low note tracking abilities. Kind of disappointed with the Korg TBH.

Doesn't really matter with guitars though.

I think the Boss display is a little better/easier to see.

I just did the tu3 and pitchblack toss up and went with the pitchblack. mostly because it was cheaper My friend let me borrow his tu3 for a few gigs, and now having used both I think they're both great; so get the one you can afford.

I'm still actually thinking about getting a Korg Pitchblack for a better price. At least, I have heard alot of good things about that tuner pedal. Boss TU-3 Pedal cost $100 for more stuff to tune, so I might get a Korg one for original tuning.

Thank you for reply, dear sir!

The Pitchblack is a fine tuner. It's only real drawback over the TU-3 is the buffer - the Korg doesn't have one. Unless you specifically require a buffer, buy the Pitchblack.
