Hi,

I've got the chance to buy a late 70s Marshall 1960A 4x12. It's looks roadworn, but I've got a slight concern (only having the photos to go by) that it might have problems that are more than cosmetic. That's because the speakers (G12-65s I think) appear to look oxidised or something on the back. It would be great if someone who knows more than me can have a look at these pics and let me know what you think please. Is this common? Or perhaps a sign of a fault?? Thanks in advance!!

Here's the pics... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mfnfi1eb0wg9vj4/AADBdH2G9SYsKfdBe5oLKllBa?dl=0

They look fine to me, if they sound decent then go for it if it isn't too expensive
