I'm new to this site so sorry if I missed the right thread. I'm thinking of getting a new guitar and needed some advice. I was considering either a PRS Suntana or a Washburn Parallaxe, any pointers? Thanks

It comes down to these factors:

What music do you play/want to create/emulate
What your budget is
What you want from a new guitar
What your player preferences are

Those will narrow it all down for you, specifically the cost/want to emulate ratio

I would go with the PRS Santana. Washburn's are decent guitars and i have had a few over the years but I could never get excited about one. A PRS Santana I could get excited about.

I play mostly heavy metal. My budget is about 1000 but i was going to get a new amp too so really about 700 to 800. I've only played the suntana so far and I really liked how it sounded but I still want to sit down with a parallaxe first.
