Hi,
I'm look at the crybaby 535q or the VOX V846-HW. Only con with the vox is its only battery. How long do the battery's last? Also any other wahs I've heard the Dimebag wahs good? Also I can't mod
Thanks!

budget? genre of music? what gear do you have now, etc.

if no budget go for a fulltone clyde/deluxe or an RMC.

Budget up to 200€. I'd used it for manly rock and metal and some funk. I have the standard crybaby now but want to upgrade. Where I live I can't test them out😔 I'd probably order it on Thomann.de it's has to be a well known brand that's easy to get hold off.

Just seen the Dimebag wah review and I think the LED had sold it 😄

look around here: http://www.realmccoycustom.com/ he does some really nice stuff. would go for the wizard wah but they are $235 and shipping.

i have had my fultone clyde wah for probably five years, works great, sounds great. and one nice thing is that it was built to have a longer sweep. i snagged it for $90 used. http://fulltone.com/products/clyde-standard-wah, it handles metal quite well and does everything pretty well.

but thomman should have the fulltone, but RMC you would have to get shipped because they are sold from themselves and they are US based. so i don't think you would be able to get one.

Thanks I'll check them out.
What is the difference between the Dimebag and 535Q wah other than the LED lights and paint job? Is it worth the extra 30€ ?

honestly i don't know what makes a model a model different than another i am not really up on that. some are pretty similar, some you can mod really easily and see improvement. but some have a Q control, some have a boost, some alter range, and things similar.

The Dimebag wah has an additional "fine tune" knob, while the 535q doesn't. I have it and it works great.
Charvel So-Cal (SH6TB/N, killswitch), Jackson RR5FR (TB6/Jazz, Drop C). Joyo pxl pro.
Loop1=Crybaby from hell, Boss PS-5, Seymour Duncan 805 or Green Rhino, EQD Hoof or Earthbound Audio Super Collider. Loop 1 into ISP Decimator II.
Loop 2 (FX loop)-Line6 M9, TC Spark Mini. Loop 2 into mxr 10band. All into a Peavey Triple XXX 212, Ibanez IL15.

batteries normally last for ages in wahs, but the problem is you have to unplug the input jack or the battery drains. that's a pain, and (maybe) puts extra strain on the pcb/jacks from all that extra plugging and unplugging.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
