I actually really like some of the work with Collins, but I agree that pre-Collins is much better in general.

The Incredible String Band
The Everly Brothers
Biffy Clyro
Beach Fossils
Ride
Tiger Trap

I'm going to drop some bombs for you. I literally just made an account so I could do this.

Blues Pills
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=618uUOk047Q

Cauldron
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1xQcVGTc5g

Red Fang
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VufilzHKTqk

The Allman Brothers. A good starting point for AB is their album live at fillmore east if you haven't already listened to it.

Jeff Healey, a phenomenal blind guitarist. RIP.

Rory Gallagher. I added him because I see that your username has Slash in it and Rory is one of Slash's idol's. He is also one of my favorite guitarists. Jimi Hendrix was once asked what does it feel like to be the greatest guitarist in the world and he replied with something along the lines of "I don't know, go ask rory gallagher". Also, in the 70's The Rolling Stones asked Rory to join them as their lead guitarist and he said no. They were all shocked but Rory had the ability to do that, he didn't need the rolling stones and one could argue that is he better than the rolling stones altogether.

Fugazi

Destroy All Monsters

The Melvins

Grand Funk Railroad. Funny story, GFR opened or zeppelin in the early 70's and the crowd reacted stronger to GFR than they did to zeppelin. Zeppelin ended up kicking GFR off of the rest of the tour because they were stealing their thunder. Their first two albums are my favorite and then after they ended up selling out and their manager kind of screwed them over but you should definitely check them out. Winter and my soul, In Need, TNUC, Inside Looking out are all rad.

Monster Truck. DFWTT. Their first two EP's are available for free download on their website. Highly Recommended.

Obligatory Deep Purple.

And a little Frank for you too... because why not?

Eddie Vedder's soundtrack for "Into the wild" is pretty chill!

Baroness if you are into that Stoner vibe.

Arcane Roots, alt-rock with prog and hardcore influences, I get a lot of Muse-vibes from those guys.

If you're in the mood for prog I highly recommend Black Bonzo, Haken and Bigelf.

You like Soundgarden and Queens of the stone age - Listen to Alain Johannes, awesome dude who is in the background in a lot of projects (QOTSA, TCV, Chris Cornell's first solo album). Check out his solo album and his band "Eleven".

Chris Cornell's Euphoria Morning is good.

As a serious answer, Faith No More isn't on your list, so remedy that immediately. Follow that up with the Wildhearts(first stop, the album Earth vs The Wildhearts).

Also, get Tales From The Kingdom Of Fife by Gloryhammer, just because.
