Capo goes on second fret. Is in very very early stages.

Just repeats the same chords (Em,C,G,D) throughout

Give me your thoughts

Em C
It's late at night and I'm rolling a cig
G
Wake up in the morning and my
D
mothers having a dig
Em
Telling me I need to get my finger out
C
and put in some work
G
While I'm receiving phone calls from
D
my dad going berserk

Em C
See I want the rich life, the fame and

the glam
G
But all that I ever seemed to find was
D
doing shit in exams
Em
Going out each weekend getting
C
totally ****ed
G
But my luck would run out when I'd
D
be missing the bus
Em
Walking home at 2 in the morning
C
when I'd be sobering up
G
And when I got home my brother
D
Be asking what's up

Em
And when it came to going to school
C
i'd just sleep in instead
G
**** going in when I can lay in my
D
bed
Em
I think that everyone is different and
C
our life's aren't all flat
G
And maybe education system should
D
realise that
Em
Getting asked questions on things
C
That I Know nothing about
G
And when I finally think of something
D
The words just fall out of my mouth

But that's not the only thing that

Needs changing about

The law system needs to be

****ing sorted out

Giving out criminal records like

they're nothing to stress

But in truth it basically puts a ****ing

noose round your neck

Calling you a criminal for doing the

Slightest thing

I reckon in a few year

It will be a crime to sing

It's not bad, and I'm sure it all comes together better with the music (lord knows all my songs do), but I still get a lot of "oh man, this whole cliche" feeling from this. There are a million songs about smoking a cigarette late at night. Not that they're all bad, just ask yourself what makes yours different from them?

Also, a bunch of single syllable words leading up to the rhyme makes it sound like and 80's rap, at least in my head.
