I've done a decent amount of searching and I can't find any threads or suggestions for this....

I scored a 96' Les Paul Deluxe a while back, and it has done quite well for my blues/rock stuff with the stock pups. My old metal band is getting back together, and it doesn't do so well for high gain applications, so I need a mini-humbucker that can do old-school traditional heavy metal, and thrash.

So far, I know that DiMarzio makes a P90 Super Distortion, but the soapbar look isn't my cup of tea, and I can't find much on the Duncans, as everyone seems to be using them in teles.

All suggestions are appreciated. Cheers!

Sturgeon's 2nd Law, a.k.a. Sturgeon's Revelation: “Ninety percent of everything is crap.”

Why, yes, I am a lawyer- thanks for asking!

Log off and play yer guitar!

Strap on, tune up, rock out!

Thanks for the reply, man. Exactly what I'm looking for! I think the Lace Nitro-Hemi will be my first stop.
