Great male falsetto singers. What do you think about men singing falsetto?

#1
Who do you consider to be great falsetto singers?

I'm talking about the likes of Jeff Buckley and Thom Yorke.
I really love the sound of falsetto if not overdone.

What do you think about men singing high falsetto?

On meth you would.

I think that their voices sound a lot higher than the voices of others in lower registers.

Aside from the singers mentioned in the O.P, I like how this guy does it:

Matthew Bellamy is good, no doubt about it, but I think that he crossed the line a bit to overdone.

Micro Cuts is an example. Excellent song, but a bit overdone on the falsetto.

Same as Supremacy. Minus the excellent song part.
Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise

Ted Leo is one of my favorite singer-songwriters and his falsetto is awesome. Inseparable from the great melodies he writes. I wish I could transition back and forth as seamlessly has he does.

My butt uses falsetto sometimes.
I eat bananas vigorously

BUTTS.

To the pit because i don't feel like doing real life.

john frusciante's falsetto is fantastic

i love falsetto
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash

Men are supposed to have low voices and therefore should not be doing high falsetto
So I guess falsetto sucks.

Men should sound like extremely low-pitched mountains being grinded together in particularly low-pitched fashion.
I have nothing important to say

Mayer's falsetto sucks. Mayer's singing, for most of his career, kinda sucks.

I like most falsetto singers but I don't like Jeff Buckley or Thom Yorke.

I have no idea what you're talking about
[UG doesn't have a sarcastic/shifty eyes emoticon dammit!]

I do like male falsetto vocals though, often more than female vocals in the same register.

I cant see how Micro Cuts is overdone on the falsetto. Micro Cuts is the song about MICRO CUTS shredding your brain into tiny ****ing pieces.

"This stems from hallucinations I had of triangular blades cutting into the back of my head. It's a feeling that information is being infiltrated into your brain. I'd seen a TV programme about psychological warfare and how the government could be controlling us using a type of radiation, sending pulses to our brains. So micro cuts are cuts into your being that you can't see or avoid" - Matt

I cant imagine anything better than falsetto to describe that meaning. Maybe some Jack White octave guitar solo but yeah then again its falsettto with guitar at some point.
