That's neat and all but I like the lesson where he pulls a rabbit out of his guitar and saws it in half better.

As always it is better explained ex for ex in Speed Mechanics by Troy Stetina.

This was a Paul Gilbert way. Not to clear and explains the frustration he talks about for other people.

Leading with an upstroke is a skill that takes time to learn the proper way and SM can always be recommended as Troy is a better teacher as he gets to the root of things.

I wouldn't call it a lesson. Usually he is good at explaining himself, but this is a mess. Perhaps there's another video about this where he's got it together.
