i never noticed it until a few minutes ago. did the normal dual recs have that too?

has anybody ran a EL34s in a dual rec that is not a stiletto? this may be interesting. if i can and it sounds good, i may try some EL34's in the T-O-V and if i like it i may pick up a 2ch dual for EL34's and pop 6L6's back into the T-O-V

I'm running 34's in my rectoverb sound better on the lead channel than the 6l6 plus gives the clean a lil grit which I dig. I also have the switch.

IIRC the rectoverb isn't tube rectified, correct? does it have the the saggy low end of a dual rec? i don't want to lose my low end with the EL34's.

would it be worth it to have both?

My Roadster has the switch. I haven't tried el34s yet though. I will eventually get some JJ e34Ls and kt66s to try in it though.

I still have plenty of low end even though its solid state rectified. Nice and thick plenty to spare. I'd like to have the option to have a 6l6 and a 34 mesa if you can I'd do it.

I like EL34s in my Rectoverb.

There is only one way to know for sure if you like it Derrek.

Try it trash I never used them before I put them in my amp and now I'm very glad I did. Worth a shot or see if you can find a mesa at a local shop with them in it and give it a good run.
