so i bought i guitar (ibanez ergodyne series) made of synthetic material called "luthite". After i did a search about it at google, i found that some people post in forums that this luthite material causes cancer... Is that legit? anyone has any info? I dont want to die by a guitar

That's BS. Polytetrafluoroethylene and stuff can give you cancer, not luthite.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Highly unlikely a painted guitar body made of luthite would have any health risks. Some materials when sanded or worked may give off fumes or dust that could be harmful.

I don't know where you heard that, but luthite is pretty safe as far as anyone is concerned.

Be our guinea pig and report back to us in 50 years if you buy a luthite guitar.
