Hi guys, just joined, The handle is Fadio and I'm a tad over 60 and trying to learn guitar so go easy on me,.

I'm a 4 chord player, 5 at a push. A, D, E, G, and C is getting there.

I have a 3 chord song I'm trying to learn but the intro is confusing the hell out of me...

Dsus2-D Dsus2-D A(D-shape on 9th fret) G(D-shape on 7th fret) D

Please don't come back with things like Dsus4 xx0233. I don't do Algebra!!! lol

Seriously, can someone explain this to someone who hasn't got a clue. simple terms please......real simple.......maybe a video explanation????

Many thanks.
D2 - Play the D shape on the 2nd fret and simply lift your middle finger to voice an open E for D2. E is the second tone in a D scale.

Make sense?
"Your sound is in your hands as much as anything. It's the way you pick, and the way you hold the guitar, more than it is the amp or the guitar you use." -- Stevie Ray Vaughan

"Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherfucker who plays it is 80 percent." -- Miles Davis
