I need a large closable, water-proof case for my amp, pedal board, cube, etc. I'm not going to buy one of those really expensive flight cases though. Something more like a cart I guess. Lockable wheels as well.

I thought about building my own, but rather than going through the trouble, if I could be referenced to a good case I'd be appreciative.

Any suggestions? Thanks c:

It seems to me like you pretty much defined a road or flight case in your needs. I don't know that you are honestly going to find anything else comparable.

Ibanez TS9, ISP Decimator, MXR 10 Band EQ

No problem, just head over to Wal-Mart and tell them you need a waterproof gun safe with casters.

Large cases suck. We got rid of all our flight cases because they easily get overfilled with gear and become a major effort to move around. Unless you are on an A list tour with a team of roadies, think small. It should fit on a hand cart or be less than 40 lbs so you can load-in and load-out quickly.

This should work. Lots of them in NC. This case was probably $500 new and buying just a good set of swivel/brake casters is probably $100.
