So a while back the on light on my TH30 head went out, and I figured it just was just burned out, and I finally got around to ordering some new bulbs, but when I got the new ones and put one in the amp, it's like it has to be pushed in to stay on but it wouldn't and still won't stay in; and just now I was messing with it again and still no luck, but then I went to plug my guitar in and there was absolutely no sound or anything. Like I'd unplug it and you know how when you tap the end of the cable and you hear that humming noise, there is none of that. It's pissing me right the fuck off.

I thought it was maybe a fuse? I'm not good with these kind of problems, so if anybody knows what the deal might be, I'd greatly appreciate a response.

is there an HT fuse on the board? check your other fuses with a meter.

So I took the fuse out and went to Ace hardware and the guy checked the fuse and said it wasn't blown, so I'm at a loss. Any other ideas? Anybody?

Which fuse, the one from the back of the amp?

There are more fuses inside the amp mounted to the PCB

There should be one on the back of the amp
see the black circle towards the power lead, that is the mains fuse. it will unscrew to the left and pop out. The fuse type is printed right on the amp if that is the issue

And how would you access those fuses?

You need to remove the amp chassis from the head shell and the HT fuses are on the circuit board inside the amp.

Take the back panel off and then there should be some screws on the bottom of the amp. Undo these and you can slide the amp chassis out of the head shell.

On the bottom of the chassis are where the PBC are located, the HT fuses are located on the board.

Alright I got it off. Is there a way to tell by just looking over them to tell if they're bad? I don't have one of those reader things

why are they the frosted ones that you can not see through?
Note how many there are and the values of them all (they are typically all the same, but check just to make sure) go get some replacements and put them in. If that doesn't work take it to a tech
