Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom "flower pot"
i guess its a guitar center exclusive, because i can find this thing anywhere else.

decided to take the plunge into gibson, but decided anything over $2000 wasnt worth it, took a trip to GC and just went down the line of gibsons they had. Traditional, classic, traditonal pro 2, and a few others. None of them felt very good in my hands, or at least not worth the 2 grand. untill i saw the classic custom.... it felt like it was meant to be.
plus you dont see many natural finish LPs, so thats cool. everyone has a sunburst or wine red

pretty standard les paul, which is what i was looking for. no coil taps or boost switchs.
just mahogany body, maple top, rosewood fretboard, and 2 '57 pickups.
although it does have solder less electronics, which im not so sure about. trying to figure out how to switch out the pickups.

the guitar itself is great, feels fantastic (little fret buzz, but i havent quite fine tuned it yet), no defects or problems what so ever. although i dont like the '57 pickups, actually i hate them. but thats me, i like a little heavier sound. i plan on getting some bare knuckle pickups soon, after i figure out which ones to get.

Awesome guitar. I really like the Classic Customs.

Really a shame you don't like the 57' Classics because they're really nice pickups.

Email the lads over at Bare Knuckle, great customer service. I didn't knew either and sent an email with the bands I like the sound of and my current gear, and they proposed pickups (in my case the Stormy Monday), really fond of 'em.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Really beautiful and no Tune-o-matic nonsense. Nice choice. Got to agree with Toodeepblue, I love the 57 Classic pups. Nice and clean when needed and great sustain at higher levels with distortion. Hey that's just a matter of taste. Good luck, it's gorgeous.
Yes I am guitarded also, nice to meet you.
