Hey all

I recently got a mfz-1 clone, and I love it, but there is an extreme amount of hiss once I turn it on.

Is this a part of the pedal circuit? Also, are other fuzz pedals very noisy?

Thanks

mind if i ask who made it?

i've built them for years now and never had an issue with noise. there are some fuzz pedals that are louder than others but this one's pretty quiet.

It was just a guy locally that built it. He made 2 of them and just wanted to get rid of the duplicate.

well there shouldn't be much hiss. probably contact him.

maybe theres a reason he was trying to get rid of it..

he probably didn't ground it right.

I was able to contact him and get a full refund. But now I need a new fuzz pedal...
