Hey, that's great.

think you need to be way more precise as depending on the model the stock pickups can be different. are you talking about the Power Sound pickups from the 80s?

^ I think the STD (lol) ones are a specific model, maybe. I think his question is ok (just I have no experience with either so I can't help). I've certainly seems trems on ibanezes called "std. DL tremolo" (e.g. here: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eg_page15.php?year=2015&area_id=3&cat_id=1&series_id=9&data_id=191&color=CL01 )
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Are there people out there actually using Ibby pups? I've always tossed them and fitted good ones. Some of the worst pups I've ever had have been fitted stock to my Ibbies over the years.

Yeah, they put them in knowing they will likely be replaced, keeps the price down and options open.

^ agreed, but it'd also be nice if the stock pups were nice enough not to have to be immediately ripped out as well.

yeah normally they do but that one doesn't (I'm guessing "DL" stands for "double-locking").

They are pretty "Meh".

I'm hoping with tax return to swap for the AirNorton/tonezone combo
