I'm currently working a project for a band and they have already programmed drums using superior drummer. Problem is, I only have Steven Slate! He sent me the midi data via email, how do I go about using that in SSD4? Do I just create a midi track or instrument track in pro tools and pull the midi data in like I would an audio clip?

Just trying to get an idea before I get home to actually play with it.

Yes.

You have SSD4 and don't even know how to use it?

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

Yep, that's how you do it. The MIDI mapping is different in SSD4 than it is in Superior. To fix this, when you open SSD4, go to map conversion and pull up the SSD4 to Superior map converter.

I know how to use ssd4. I've simply never imported someone else's midi data.
