Ambitious and violent experimental metalcore band from France(?) that writes awesome longer tracks. Not just long because they're slow and sludgy, though - the tracks go through multiple movements with various changes in mood and tempo throughout.

Who are you? The prince of darkness? Don't you have any friends?

It's really good (objectively), I dig it (subjectively). I think I'd like it more if it was dirtier in the production aspect. It does feel all over the place, but it does suit the genre. I felt like they could have broken up their long songs into shorter songs, but in this regard it does feel like a bunch of smaller songs grouped as one.

EDIT: Only listened to ...As Everything is a Tragedy

I can see how you would prefer the songs to be broken up, with a little more rigid structuring. I just get a total boner for long tracks. Check out The Journey is Over Now, similar to Tragedy, but the songs I think are more coherent.

Excellent band. Pretty noisey but still plenty of cohesion in the songs. I do agree with Severed, though, it'd probably be better if the pieces were separated into smaller songs.

Part II of The Journey Is Over Now is so bouncy, mmm. <3
